Help with the LEVL iPhone app. Most answers are below. For anything else, get in touch.

Contact us

Email Levlup18@gmail.com. Include your iPhone model, iOS version and LEVL version if you can. We aim to reply within 24 hours.

To report a problem from inside the app, open Profile › Report a bug. It attaches your app and iOS version for you.

Getting started

Do I need an account?

No. Choose Continue as guest to log training and use Player, practice duels and the Forge. Your progress stays on this iPhone. Create an account (email or Sign in with Apple) to keep your progress in the cloud, add friends, duel friends, see the boards and post Check Ins.

Where are the settings?

Tap your picture at the top right of any tab. The sheet that opens is called Profile. It holds your name and username, Check In and notification settings, Apple Health, blocked people, your physical profile, units, your account, and help.

Your account and data

I forgot my password

On the sign-in screen, tap Forgot password?. We email you a reset link. Open it on this iPhone, or type the 6-digit code from the email if there is one.

Moving to a new iPhone

With an account, sign in on the new iPhone and your progress comes with you. As a guest, open Profile › Export my data, copy the code, then paste it with Import a code on the new iPhone. Importing replaces the save on that iPhone.

Starting over

Profile › Reset all data (tap twice) resets your level, stats, training log, coins and gear on this iPhone. If you are signed in, it also resets your account's saved progress. Your account, friends and Check Ins stay.

Deleting your account

Tap your picture at the top right, scroll to Help & data, tap Delete account, type DELETE and confirm. The account deletion page explains exactly what is removed.

What happens to my data?

See the Privacy Policy.

Training and the game

Why was a set refused?

LEVL checks that lifts are realistic, for example against your bodyweight if you have entered it. Check the number and unit (kg or lb), then log it again.

Are packs, the Shop or the Pass paid?

No. Packs, the Shop, the Pass and Forge upgrades use only coins and XP you earn in LEVL. There are no real-money purchases. Each pack shows the chance of every rarity before you open it (Forge › Reward packs), and each Forge upgrade shows its chance of success. Everything there is cosmetic and never changes your stats, rank or duel scores.

Practice duels and friend duels

Practice duels (Compete › Duels) are against simulated challengers and need no account. Friend duels are between two real players; our server keeps the official score. To join a friend's duel, open Compete › Duels › Join by code and enter their code.

Check In, camera and Health

The camera doesn't open

Allow camera access in the iPhone's Settings › LEVL › Camera. Everything else in LEVL works without the camera.

Why are my two photos taken one after the other?

iPhones that can use the front and rear cameras at the same time take both photos together. Other iPhones take the rear photo first, then the selfie.

Apple Health

Tap Connect on the Player tab, or open Profile › Apple Health. If you said no to iOS's permission screen, change it in the Health app. What LEVL reads from Health stays on your iPhone and never affects your XP, stats or rank.

Notifications

Turn on Profile › Check In › Daily reminder for a reminder at a random time inside your training window. If notifications are off for LEVL, allow them in Settings › LEVL › Notifications. Friend requests and duel challenges appear under the bell in the app.

Safety

Reporting and blocking

Every Check In and comment has a menu (⋯) with Report and Block, and a player's profile has Report and Block buttons. Blocked people are listed in Profile › Privacy › Blocked people. Read the community guidelines to see how reports are handled.

Someone is in danger

If anyone is at immediate risk, contact your local emergency services first, then tell us.

Is LEVL medical advice?

No. Figures such as estimated one-rep maxes are approximations. Train within your limits and speak to a qualified professional before starting a new programme. See the Terms of Use.
